A relaxing hour-long massage with a multitude of health benefits.
I'm looking for...
Deep tissue massage is a technique that focuses primarily on the deeper layers of muscles and the fascia (the connective tissue usually collagen). Sometimes this technique involves the therapist using firmer pressure in order to reach these key areas and get them to release. This particular type of massage is often recommended for patients who are comfortable with a more intense touch.
It can be especially helpful for chronic aches and pains and contracted areas such as stiff neck and upper back, lower back pain, leg muscle tightness and sore shoulders. It can be slightly uncomfortable at times but your therapist will adjust the treatment to suit you.
Deep Tissue Massage increases the flow of blood through the body. It helps reduce the inflammation that can cause pain. This can also be an effective treatment for rehabilitating injured muscles as it facilitates the movement of toxins away from the muscles.
Deep Tissue Massage can ease stress and reduce blood pressure. According to a study cited by the University of Maryland Medical Centre, patients saw their systolic blood pressure drop by an average of 10.4 mm Hg and their diastolic pressure drop an average 5.3 mm Hg, following a deep tissue massage.
For those people who suffer from chronic stress, and all of its side-effects like tension headaches, rigid shoulders and tight muscles; deep tissue massage can be a relief. Once renewed and revitalised you'll be able to face your challenges more easily.
Massage involves working the soft tissue of the body, to ease day-to-day stresses and muscular tension, and promote relaxation. It helps to increase delivery of blood and oxygen to the treated areas and can also be used in support of other therapies to assist in the rehabilitation of muscular injuries.
When there is chronic muscle tension or injury, there are usually adhesions (bands of painful, rigid tissue) in muscles, tendons, and ligaments. Adhesions can block circulation and cause pain, limit movement and cause inflammation. Muscles must be relaxed in order for the therapist to reach the deeper musculature. This process takes time and can be very relaxing. Patients are often advised to drink plenty of water following massage to help flush toxins from the muscles.
These are the most frequently asked questions, if you want to know more please contact us.
We recommend you wear comfortable loose clothing, ideally natuarl fibres such as cotton or wool as these allow the body and muscles to "breath' after treatment.
On the whole, the experience is pleasant and comfortable. Massage over muscular areas of tension, where more pressure will need to be applied can sometimes be a little tender or uncomfortable, however you therapist will adjust the massage to suit you.
The treatment lasts for one hour. Our experience is that many people lead very busy lives and it often takes us the first 30 minutes just to start to relax properly during a treatment.
Most areas of the body can be treated. Your therapist will discuss with you beforehand if there are areas you would like to avoid or to concentrate on.
Your treatment journey will start with a face to face consultation with your practitioner. You will discuss your ideal treatment requirements and ask any questions and we will agree a treatment plan and cost with you then.
You might be interested in our 0% finance or interest-free payment plans to fund most treatments. Many customers investing in higher value treatment plans are attracted by our payment plan and having the ability to spread your cost over 10 months.

We also have combination treatment packages where you can combine your regular BOTOX anti-wrinkle treatment with a monthly HydraFacial treatment.
You can choose to pay for your package in one upfront payment or apply for a 0% Finance plan and spread the cost by direct debit over 6 to 12 months. A finance plan application can be set up quickly online, in clinic with one of our admin team.
Firstly, you will agree upon your own personal treatment plan with your Nurse Practitioner. This is often a combination of several different treatments including BOTOX and fillers or perhaps CoolSculpting. These treatments may be spread over several visits or may be given in one appointment.
If you wish, you may then apply for a 0% finance plan in clinic before your treatment starts. If approved the total cost of your treatment can be spread over 6 to 12 monthly payments. Depending on the treatment plan, customers typically apply for between £500 and £20,000.
